Bearings for high temperatures
These ball bearings, with a temperature range of up to 150°C and reduced noise, are designed for contaminated environments, for high speeds and temperatures. With extremely powerful seals, these bearings extend the machine life and reduce maintenance costs.
NSK bearings with designation X26 are intended for electric motors, fans and compressors.
Producer NTN-SNR supplies bearings with designation FT150 for similar purposes, with a temperature range of up to 150°C. The bearings are filled with high temperature greases that do not reduce the maximum bearing speed. The bearings have an increased radial clearance, C3, as standard and Viton seals for high temperatures.
Ball bearings for very high temperatures
NTN-SNR bearings with designation HT200 are designed for operating temperatures of up to 200°C. Bearings are filled with grease for very high temperatures, which reduces the bearing speed. The bearings have an increased radial clearance, C4, as standard and Viton seals for high temperatures. They are mainly used in industrial fans, dryers, packaging, in the steel, food and porcelain industries.
Ball bearings for extremely high temperatures
NTN-SNR ball bearings with designation F6 have a temperature range of up to 350°C and are mainly used in the glass, porcelain and steel industries. These bearings for extremely high temperatures reach only low speeds, of up to 50 rpm, and are designed for medium loads. The bearings have a very high radial clearance (approximately four times higher than C5) required for use at extremely high temperatures and have a special, phosphated surface treatment.
The most common application is bearings for kiln cars.
