Bega is the world’s largest producer of induction heaters, with a wide range of products from smaller portable heaters to heavy-duty models for wind power plants.
Induction heating is a superior, fast and controlled heating method. It is a safe and environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional heating methods such as ovens, oil baths or blow torches. These methods create smoke, fumes or oil waste and are hazardous for personal health and safety.
BETEX induction heaters are versatile and can be used to heat bearings, gear wheels, bushes, couplings and more, and to extend bearing life, by using the correct mounting method. This heating method is also ideal for sealed bearings and pre-lubricated bearings.
A temperature of 100°C can be reached within a few minutes, depending on the bearing size.
The heating is fully controlled based on a pre-set temperature or time.
Wide range of models:
- Portable models
- Benchtop models
- Mobile models
- Heavy-duty models
- Custom-made models
- Middle frequency models for mounting and dismounting
We offer STANDARD and TURBO heaters.
TURBO models save time and offer lower energy consumption and a high output. The maximum TURBO effect is achieved by heating in the horizontal position.

Middle frequency induction heaters for mounting and dismounting
Middle frequency induction heating is a safe and cost-effective heating method that improves the quality of installation or maintenance. This method is fast, simple and energy-efficient. Middle frequency technology makes it easier and quicker to transfer effective energy into the workpiece. This system is clean and operates very quietly, saving time too.
For example, a clutch can be heated to 100°C in three minutes, compared with the 2-hour conventional method.
It is commonly used in the steel, paper and rail industries, as well as machine building, gear and drive systems and more.
Middle frequency heating method:
- Fixed inductor outside – heating with a fixed inductor around the component. Energy input from outside to inside. For bearing rings, pipes and rings.
- Fixed inductor inside – heating with a fixed inductor in the component. Energy input is outwards. For use, for example, in bored holes for gearboxes or bearing bores in housings/frames.
- Table inductor – the part is lying flat on an inductor table and is heated to the required temperature in a very short time. This method is suitable for light products that require serial heating.
- Flexible inductor – the flexible inductor is wrapped around a component. Suitable for non-cylindrical shapes or extreme dimensions.
Model Betex MF QUICK-HEATER – 22 kW, 44 kW
