Tapered roller bearings

Tapered roller bearings are capable of taking high radial loads and also high axial loads in one direction. The pair of bearings can be axial loaded in both directions.

 

Tapered roller bearings have tapered inner and outer ring raceways as well as tapered rollers.

 

Depending on the contact angle, tapered roller bearings are divided into three types: Normal angle, medium angle, and steep angle. Double-row and four-row tapered roller bearings are also available.

 

The tapered roller bearings are separable, so the cone assemblies and cups can be mounted independently.
