Thrust tapered roller bearings
The thrust tapered roller bearings allow an extremely compact arrangement in the axial direction, which can sustain high axial loads. They are rigid and insensitive to impact loads.
Thrust tapered roller bearings are produced in one-direction and two-direction designs.
Bearings with a full complement of rollers are held together by a sheet steel cover.
TT type bearings, which have a rib on the housing washer, can accurately guide the shaft in the radial direction.
TTF type bearings, which have no rib on the housing washer, can tolerate some eccentricity during operation.
